Probably an incredibly naive question but, what the heck....In a study like Reduce It, why can't the data be made available as the study progresses?
Yes, it sure is! On so many levels - unblinds the trial, patients find out what's going on, can figure out if they're on placebo or drug, plus provides stock traders info on whether a drug trial is good or not. Kills any scientific value of a trial.
