#13281 RE: valueyoda #13272

Again, it's naive to assume there are not other NDA's that prevent the company from being public regarding just about everything that is going on. The co does not have to publicize every NDA they may have with TransCanada. In fact, TransCanada could have just asked them to not say a word, and to uphold the relationship STWA would likely happily oblige.

Anyway, even if STWA could tell us all what's going on and if TRP are seriously interested, do you really think they would? I don't. Negotiations are not a deal. I know that the co would not want to have to retract something they said if things change, or if there are delays. In fact, no company would ever say anything that is so pivotal to their success and their share price and is such a binary a situation. The co knows what's at stake. They would never jeopardize their relationship with TransCanada to please some investors.

And, if this is for real, then it is a very big deal. And it's extremely likely that TransCanada would not want the slightest word getting out, and possibly effecting the price they could get the AOT for. Especially if they are in the middle of negotiations.
