Thanks for the charts but sorry I'm not good at reading charts. Can you elaborate on the above? Did you mean by MM's to be institutions that are long (recently increased their holdings and when news hits will take on significant positions) or shorts that covered some and are positioned to re-short when news arrives?

My knowledge of patterns is extremely limited, thus this might be a really stupid question.

Aren't Cup and Handle patterns a continuation of trends? NWBO past history is downward, so how would this apply?
