We either have a shorting scandal here or we do not. Each side has stated its opinion over and over ad nauseum. The jury is still out.
You omit one thing...... There is evidence that there is no short and there is no evidence that there is one. So why would you assume that there is one contrary to the evidence at hand? I'm sure more evidence on the matter will surface with time but things are not going your way so far.
