While I agree that power isn't just home runs, I do believe that home runs carry the weight. I would gladly trade 20 doubles for 10 more Homers and the other 10 just being singles. Home runs change games. Avg. Is the most overrated stat. Obp + Slug is where it's at. Joe Carter and Ce cil Fielder would both maybe hit .270 but they would hit 30 and drive in 100. I will take that al day every day. Jmho
