no i never buy into earnings .. although i appreciate and understand your earnings strategy it is not my style

i will wait till tomorrow morning and see the indicators which way to play the gap (in this case the big gap down)

when market opens the earnings premium evaporates but the stock still might have significant move
either to fill the gap or continue the gap.

I wish I could find my post from the beginning of the year where I predict the deflation of these high beta stocks (AMZN , NFLX , TSLA)
I had particular scorn for AMZN.. i think the stock is a piece of garbage
I think in the near term there will be a spin off of Amazon Web Services
which will have a 50 billion to 70 billion dollar valuation

which will leave Amazon as a pure ecommerce play
and at a much much LOWER valuation
