The SEC's interest in CMKX is where the money went and was it obtained fraudulently. UC taking the fifth at the hearing already told them that his criminal lawyers thought that there were things he could be prosecuted for.

What on earth would they know about hedge funds? When Frizzy announced that they were to be deposed, he said that the SEC was interested in their own activities. There were also rumors that the were expected to produce their trading records.

In addition, theirs weren't the only depositions taken this year. About a month ago, Treffry attended another depo. He was no longer representing Chris Jensen; someone else was deposed, but All*n wouldn't say who.

The bottom line is that the SEC doesn't continue to investigate after a revocation unless they're pretty sure they'll take some further action. Investigations are expensive, and they don't conduct them frivolously.
