Each time you browse, the fingerprint changes slightly...but in FACT..becomes MORE unique. Just as it did when you (Or me) went to this Panoptic site, and took the test. (Did Ya read the privacy statement...yeah, me neither.) When you take the test a 3-month persistent-cookie is applied, to (So they say) prevent the data being counted twice for each computer.

...Catch-22.

Sort of like looking 'over your shoulder', to see if your being followed...no way to do that inconspicuously.

I was going to comment on that site when you first mentioned in response to it, but got sidetracked,,,for days. It gave me the same numbers no matter how many time I closed the browser and came back. It didn't change. Which tells me it was loading a cookie and was redoing the info. Not very random to me.

Google does this a lot with your searches. Ever wonder why even if you spell it different or reorder the search, almost always comes back the same for pages and pages. What good is a million hit search that totally loses the original inquiry 4 pages into the returns? This of course after you advance through about 5 pages of useless advertising by paid sponsors.
I barely use google at all now. Duckduckgo and others.

Wait, what was the original question? lol
