You didn't ask me, but I am not sure we should view it as good or as bad per se. It is just good to understand what is happening. I think somebody is trying to get shares to cover their short, or pick up shares to accumulate. If you can whack the Bid with tiny blocks long enough maybe you induce frustration or panic in some investor and he will dump his shares.
Actually, this is the perfect environment (the last couple of weeks mini meltdown) to try that kind of strategy. The whole market has taken a beating, and you are gambling that somebody out there is getting hit with a margin call, wants / needs to raise cash for something else they think is on sale, or is just depressed because their portfolio has taken a 35% haircut and can't take it anymore.
Either way, any significant news from MVTG, and this should move back towards .70 pretty quickly. We have seen .25 cent moves in one day here when there is demand for shares.
