Countries like Japan and China have way more man power at work. Thus kblb will be easily surpassed.

You say this as if you are actually in their labs, charting their progress.

More does not necessarily equate to progression.

Case and point: BASF and duPont.

Once another country has their own silkworms producing similar material, they can scale up and bring to market a material in months

I don't believe it will be that clear cut....

Before producing commercial quantities, they'll have to compare their spider silk product against any that may already be in production.

If there's a company out there producing superior quality spider silk at a lesser cost basis, guess who will get the lion's share of requests? (Rhetorical)

Surely, there will be enough projects to go around....

I'll leave it at that, for now.

While China has a couple universities working on the development of artificial spider silk, it does not seem like there are any companies there attempting to commercialize it as of yet, at least none that I have found. I agree with you about Japan, though.

Once another country has their own silkworms producing similar material, they can scale up and bring to market a material in months, not years like kblb.

Depends on their method of producing it. Spinning spider protiens from E.coli or Goat Milk requires a lot of expensive equipment and a decent sized factory to do which requires a lot of capital, though it seems like Japan is well on their way to build it. Using silkworms is a much cheaper meathod, but each cycle takes a couple months and there is the issue of achieving homozygosity and reducing the natural variances in the fibers. It is the natural variances in the fiber that I believe is the reason that Monster Silk is not on the market yet and hopefully gets resolved soon if it hasnt already been.

The competition is out there. Countries like Japan and China have way more man power at work. Thus kblb will be easily surpassed.

In the interests of knowing what we know, how many people does KBLB and China have working on their projects? How many times do you point out when someone is speculating? Yet here you are submitting an speculative argument against Kraig's success. Point must just be to amplify a dreary future. A tough endeavor, when you are talking to people that know what they have. A tough endeavor when they are the leader. A tough endeavor when being a leader means you aren't alone. Not being alone means someone else, companies and the countries that you mention..... are at some stage of progress to which we have already surpassed.

And you can disagree with me all day long.

I would, but the argument isn't with us, it is with the facts. The same old stale facts are still there.

So keep posting but its not gonna change anything. The company you so vehemently support doesn't even update you quarterly, or annually anymore. Large sales are coming. The share price will be heading lower.

So you are still going to blindly adhere to this delusion that KBLB isn't in a quiet period? It is one of the toughest jobs, convincing people with convoluted arguments. You have a vivid imagination, if you think KBLB has been surpassed. I can see Entogenetics wanting people to believe this garbage, but to maintain that the world leader has missed the boat? It is an easier sell, to maintain someone losing the race missed the boat....isn't it? Large sales are coming indeed. Metric tonnes. The shares I own are very well placed thank you.
