The key is getting foot in the door. I'm less concerned about immediate revenues, and more concerned about creating an association of MHYS with good films, an association that will bring forth revenue in the mid to long term. Just IMO.
Grodnik already has a good name in business. Need to do same for MHYS.
Whatever the points of the deal dictate but I'm sure with Dan Exec Producing the pic it will be substantial. Plus comes the hype and buzz at Awards time for more big time proj. The company is also being paid some up front out of the initial 22mill which will be decent in itself. Exec Prods with his credits don't get chump change - imo
Overall, great positioning by any A-list Hollywood standards for MHYS - imo
Further for a De Niro pic 100mill box office would be way too low. That would probably just be U.S. Overseas would kick that up substantially - imo
