Dangerous if you are significantly on margin and not getting a paycheck. Otherwise, piece of cake. Ready to buy more and help out some desperate sellers.

I certainly recognize the severe threat that represents to current and future cancer patients. While it would be bad for shareholders, bad for the company, it would certainly be the most terrible for them.

but fail to recognize the severe threat that lack of financing could present to this company in the future.

Thank you for saying that. I am having a hard time here not making a Kool-Aid reference to some of these posts.

Hey everyone, your company is being attacked...and your company is telling the market "Well, we really have nothing to say."

Don't blame bloggers or shorts...publicly traded companies protect the VALUE of their stock with supporting reasons to buy into the vision of the company. All of them do this. Period.

The fact that we are sitting today on a 3 handle should have you furious. You could have put your money in 100 other stocks and done better than a 30% decline in 4 days and 60% decline in 3 months.

Sorry, can't help it...put down the Kool-Aid that others are feeding you here and for crying out loud go ask the person making it what's in it! You say nothing to management, they assume you are cool with this (some of you are...I'm talking to the rest of you).

It's amazing to me how some of the brightest minds on this board brush off concerns

To be honest, sometimes I have my own concerns & sometimes I agree silently with some of the concerns that others mention on this board.
Usually I do not chime in with any of the concerns ... and sometimes I try to refute the naysayers or bashers.

I do think that sometimes AF & cohorts might be getting some of their bashing ideas straight from message boards such as this one or Yahoo's. I do not want to add fuel to the bashing fire.

This has been quite a ride ... this is actually the first and only biotech stock I have ever bought. Quite an experience, including trying to figure out all that is/might be involved with the science. I had never heard of AF, nor did I realize the impact that he could have. Frustrating. In hindsight it is clear now that most of my option purchases were not that smart (for a while I was doing pretty good, but that has changed). It is perhaps a bit easier for investors to be easy going about some of their losses if they invested in stock at $3 and below, versus others that bought in higher or lost due to options becoming worthless as some of the anticipated price movements did not occur as hoped for or within the needed timeframe. Part of the game, I guess, for investing in a small biotech and investing in options.
