Meaning there is not enough platinum to meet all the applications, just vehicles alone that use a Ballard PEM cell will create a shortage. They are called rare earth elements because they are rare and expensive, $1200/oz. for platinum. And China, who has manipulated the market in the past has most of it along with Russia. MVTG/ MRFC does not use this, platinum and is better. So I have to consider what GE has to offer and other DD. MVTG is a good investment, JMHO.
