Most public companies don't release information on a project till after they know there's going to be success. Boeing just secured a contract with NASA. No one knew they had got past 1st base till the contract was announced.
ORB.. Orbital Sciences did the same thing when they secured the COTS contract. They worked on the project for over a year b4 telling the shareholders.
