One does not simply walk into enterprise:P You need security software, manageability, and familiar/software architecure.

Apple/IBM are the outsiders here and the are competing with incumbents HP/Dell who already have the relationships, manageability software and security prodcts already in place. Remeber IBM chucked all its PC business and only does a subslice of servers after selling most of that to Lenovo.

As for consumers, Intel pioneered wireless display years ago. They invented the USB spec, pushed bluetooth first and have developed lots of innovations for consumer. As usual you give Intel too little credit...
