#59860 RE: threshold #59856

Well, I believe all of the bent-gate publicity(which in my opinion is BS), will push them to rethink the next build. Although I am confident the next iPhone has been in development for a while, this event will likely cause them to explore other options. They have about a year to rethink the structure and material in the next updated iPhone. At the end of the day, I suppose it comes down to whether or not they can cost effectively use amorphous alloy compared to all of the other options out there without destroying profit margins.

So you expect a bulk "metallic" glass iPhone. I assume in slate black, silver and gold. Yay, we have yet another generation of "metallic" iPhone similar to what, the last 4 generations? To paraphrase someone else, "hey them drum brakes work"! We just need to use Liquidmetal to make them work better. Whoopy now that's real progress.

Just saying bud. I respect your analysis and prediction. Maybe they will use amorphous alloy in the next iPhone. I'll probably buy one irregardless of the material just because I am and have been a loyal iPhone customer for years. Even if in my opinion it is neither the most effective solution to the "perceived" problem nor the material I personally would choose.

But ask yourself this. Does being an LQMT shareholder influence your objectivity? Have the potential profits for you skewed your analysis at all?

It is not entirely unfathomable for me to consider that Apple may be considering using amorphous alloy in their next iPhone. It's just that I don't believe as strongly as you that it will be the final choice. Sapphire, Carbon Fiber, MIM........... Choices.

Just my opinion and thanks for your contribution.
