Possibly, but it's still a Samsung, sporting the malware-prone Android OS. A stiff iPhone by itself doesn't mean everything. BUT, in conjunction with Apple's superior OS, it would be part of an incredibly secure, efficient, and high-end package.

People have been clamoring for an iPhone with a larger screen. Apple delivered in spades by offering not one, but two larger phones. I would expect many Android users to make the switch in droves. Time will tell though.

Apple is getting some significantly bad press right now concerning the permanently bent iPhones, and they will have to address it one way or another. It's gone viral, even on national broadcasts.

Regardless of what Samsung does or does not do, this is a great opportunity for Apple to introduce Liquidmetal-encased iPhones. For metal phones, this is the perfect response.

Anyway, just thinking out loud. I could be wrong, but it seems reasonable, especially since Apple bought and paid for the IP. 2015?
