If you go look through each of the Republican members on HELP you will see that several have taken money from BP.

Of course. The agriculture & food industries and the industries that support it plus the pharmaceutical industry and the industries that support it probably account for one trillion dollars of our GDP. The lobbying money to both parties is in the billions. This has been going on for many, many decades and administrations.
