The "bent phone" stories are true, especially for the 6+. There's even a video on youtube demonstrating how easy it is to bend it. And it does not bend back. That's what you get when
you keep grinding the aluminum thinner and thinner. Even a very slight bend will give it a wobble
for anyone wanting to set it on a flat surface to use. One phone the glass shattered as the owner tried
to bend it back in place.

And how will an elastic Liquidmetal solve that problem?

That's just careless people. Same has been reported with the 5, 5S and even Samsung.

Some kind of controversy happens every year when the new iPhone comes out. I got a free high dollar case for my iPhone 4 because of "antenna gate" and nothing was wrong with it.

So tell me how an "elastic" Liquidmetal case would help. It wouldn't!

That's what insurance is for and careless or clumsy people should have insurance. Of course even with insurance careless and clumsy people have to pay a nice fee or deductible to get it replaced.

Folks should quit whining so much and take responsibility for their carelessness. LQMT won't solve that.

In my opinion.

"If apple invents the technology"

That hits the proverbial nail on the head! While back at LM hq, they are playing with remote controlled toys and thinking up new ways to justify more "incentives" for lq personnel
