#29238 RE: stringofpearls #29235

stringofpearls, with this INCC “Zoning” thought...

That was discussed here within the INCC forum a little while back. Read the posts below as such is a non-issue and if you still feel different, then respectfully, we will just have to ”agree” to ”disagree” on such issue as I choose to trust INCC and its TEAM:

stringofpearls, why such is no big deal...

I know for a fact (or basically from my experience) that such is no big deal. You simply fill out the paperwork to get those areas of land reclassified and you can then do with them as you please within that reclassification. It doesn't take much to do such as I have learned of doing such from the Zoning POCs here in San Antonio, TX dealing with a piece of land in my neighborhood. I sat in on the City Council meeting on the issue. Some of the residents in our neighborhood didn’t want this apartment complex to be built on this particular piece of land because they thought that it would impede traffic and would drag the neighborhood down years later down the road. The other option was to get the property reclassified because of how it was zoned. The debate is still going on because the reclassification option that was decided allows for a variety of other businesses to be built on the land ranging from a grocery store to a strip club if the owner of the land so desired.

The land is owned by [bMehos who is the connection of the land to be used for INCC marijuana cultivation. INCC and Mehos could have already started such process of reclassification I’m sure if need be. I might explain why I said ”if need be” a little later. Again, if the reclassification has not been initiated, it's not a long process to complete. Still, like you have stated, they already have a block that is already correctly classified. I’m sure that ”if” they were to use the entire 251 acres that I had previously identified, they would not use all of it at once. They would build up to such huge cultivation acre by acre if I had to guess. I still think that we are fine.

Stervc...with such a thought...sorry had to :) In all seriousness, I agree completely, thanks for taking the time to address it.

Antonio tweeted yesterday and in no less words said the same as you that this is a non issue.

If they are working on Easements, there is no conflict with zoning or it already has been rezoned as you are suggesting would happen. To be at that late stage of planning says a few things about those preliminary initial investigations an owner would make before contracting the land and developing building plans.

Thanks again for taking the time to address.

Also, Regarding INCC & Zoning...

Your thoughts included added more clarity as to why it is safe to not expect any zoning issues here with INCC/Medical Cannabis Holdings, Inc. I believe this is why INCC stated/tweeted that such is a non-issue:
