I haven't heard how the U.S. will handle using only air strikes when ISIL moves into densely populated areas - boots on the ground is how the U.S. will handle it!

That's why it's good that the Iraqis will be picking the targets for US strike missions. If civilians get killed the blame is theirs and theirs alone. Just for good measure I'd paint the aircraft with Iraqi colors and markings. We already have Military Assistance Command on the ground in a training and advisory role.

There's really no way to pick up a turd by the clean end but we keep trying.
