"Selling $M's of stock
the day of Vascepa's approval in the Marine indication. This
is unprecedented in the Biotechnology Industry. This enraged
FDA and they wouldn't allow JZ to attend ADCOM."

Why would/should the FDA care about a stock price or trading? How could they keep the company CEO from attending beyond bullying?

Sound like they aren't about medicine or safety but power.

I have no choice but to agree that management needs to be replaced, but this isn't anything like us complaining to congress, media, etc about SPA recession. Those entities aren't aware of what happened and we notified them of it. What good would it be to go to BOD... they know that we're down 90% and are frustrated beyond words.

Ajax -

Bingo. I don't even think most here even know that JZ was NOT at ADCOM. Many here underestimate the destruction that JZ did. Greed and incompetence has brought this company to its knees. It is almost endless to the number of bridges that have been burned here. This is why the ONLY way to truly begin to re-build this company is to get rid of JZ and JT. Remember. We can all make a difference here.

My god if BB alone started to focus his attention at the BOD to get rid of management he alone could probably get it done within a week...

Ajax, What is the Net Worth of Hamburg?

and her husband?

If you knew that, you would know that your statement about FDA being enraged that JZ profited from selling his stock is total BS. Hamburg and her husband make JZ look like a pauper. The problem is "Big Government", in the form of the FDA in this case, and FDA favors GSK due to the significant fees that GSK pays to the FDA, as well as the personal wealth that Hamburg & her husband gains by owning GSK, as long as it does well.

Are you kidding??? The FDA was "enraged" when JZ sold...what..5% of his holdings around the time of approval? Since when does FDA monitor insider stock trading? And using your logic, the FDA never would have approved Vascepa's nDA since there were mananagement sales prior to July 2012.

"Long history". Okay. Name one. And not just another one you lost money on, but another one that the FDA stated they did not approve because they were so "enraged" by insider selling.

The FDA is the culprit to most retail investors.

Oh for the era of maggoty meat, patent medicine, and coliform everywhere.

Those were the good old days.

you have to go back to the serious miscalculations
of MGMT. They committed acts that FDA has been strongly opposed
to for many years. ie: Pump and Dump, which the CEO (JZ) did
and handsomely profited by so doing.

What the?? Since when does the FDA monitor insider sales, and even care what insiders do, let alone get "enraged" by them?

Selling $M's of stock the day of Vascepa's approval in the Marine indication. This is unprecedented in the Biotechnology Industry.

Not unprecedented at all, and you should know this - happens all the time, and is typically a bad sign - look what happened to VVUS for instance. Leland and Tam knew they had a crap drug on their hands and sold way more than JZ did.

This enraged FDA and they wouldn't allow JZ to attend ADCOM. That speaks volumes as to why FDA has been AMRN'S nemesis. They have a long history of doing this with other Co's who acted in an
inappropriate and non Professional way

I believe that JZ did do things that pissed off the FDA, but selling stock can't be one of them, that's so far out of their purveyance it's not funny. And AC's are a public event, don't believe the FDA has the power to ban anyone from attending, especially not the CEO - I think JZ knew he would not be useful there, thought it was in the bag anyway, so he stayed away. CEO of ARNA did not attend their second AC either.
