Yes, as the "quote says" the sleuths exposed the degrees to be what they truly are some time ago, but until recently, and as verified in at least one suit investors brought against him where an 8 figure loss occurred, the degrees could not be debunked to the point of satisfying the court.

That is now possible due to the recent indictment, arrest, and guilty plea by the principals behind the sales of these made up degrees. And, as the indictment reads, there was no doubt the purchasing entities were fully aware of the status (non-credentialed) of the degrees, but they were also offered advice on how to market them to increase profits.

Now, as part of the court and subsequent public record, they are evidence on record, to anyone who wants to see. And, in that same record, there is also evidence in the form of copies supplied by another litigant, who was a former attorney working for the man, of the degrees that were promoted as part of the Canadian stock fraud in the early 90's he was involved in. It was suspected that they existed at one time, but until this suit was unearthed and the court record reviewed, it was thought any proof had been destroyed a long time ago.
