I think that you are right on the money ! I also think that folks have to keep in mind that Titan is a small development company. They will need the help of a deep-pocketed partner at the very least.

* One of the reasons that I am so adamant about PPS (and supporting it) is because they higher we are at going into all of these milestones - the higher the buyout price would likely be if a BIGGUN decides to acquire us instead of partnering.

Regardless of patents, I assure you that Intuitive will sue them and try to bleed them. If they get out of the gate (Titan) strong and can run the numbers up based on availability of product, their valuation and attractiveness to suitors will increase dramatically. A merge is possible, but I would try to prolong it as possible. If I am doing all the right things and increasing revenue (shareholder value) I would want to go it alone. Look at what ISRG was able to accomplish. Titan would not only compete with these guys, but expand the market and lead to the overall robotics surge over the next several years.

Exceptional input and I do agree and have stated many times ISRG will go after Titan (and anyone else who enters this space) with reckless abandon.

One other point regarding Titan's research on other IP in the market

Prior to Amadeus being shelved, the Titan prospectus always had legal jargon in it stating that Titan had not done any market research to assure that their technology was not infringing on existing marketplace technology and that their were no guarantees. I have not see that type of legalese in the most recent prospectus. Has anyone else?
