Agreed , but this was not is not my point in the first place.
The point is he has never OPENLY sold his shares and if he did short sell(covered short) he could also then buy them back , and make money COMING AND GOING.

Whole point here is simple ,HE and the BOYZ own CONtrolling interest of shares in this company, now that can be a GOOD THANG or a BAD THANG ,depending.

God thing is if they move forward and let all that hold here ride as well , the bad thing is that they can come out , offer to buy out and take the company private , and only OFFER .10 a share and no one here could do CHIT ABOUT IT , since they hold CONtroling voting %'s................

And that then only leaves one group they MAY have to contend with ,IF keyword IF there are any assets to come back to WAMU(old Wamu holders)and that would be the LTI's.

Understand here, they have made money going up in the early 2000"s shorted imho and made money on the tank and takeover and bought tons on the low,Then made money again on the rise back UP,and again money on the HOSEN US again tank job. But one thing all must and I mean MUST remeber and keep in mind and that is THEY STILL HOLD THE MAJORITY VOTE in WMIH and ALSO HOLD THE MAJORITY OF PREFD's.

So sharp as the are(CROOKED) you can bet your sweet BIPPY , if they want it they can get WMIH for .10 a share and IF there is anything to come back it has to go to prefds and be bought ,then they could roll it to a PRIVATE NEWCO.
way out there I know but this whole thing is WAY OUT THERE YOU KNOW

Not saying no, but would have been a really dangerous move

Mr. Bonderman, a legend in the world of private equity, received a seat on Washington Mutual’s board.
