Tim Wilkens works for AMD - Redpreist is a noted AMD fantatic, sharkiou is the worst kind of amdster, Sciencemark is rigged against Intel cpus. Wilkens should not be involved in any benchmarking with Intel chips.

Did you read some of the comments of sharkiou's blog? Are you wishing Intel's conroe is bad? What was your reason for posting sharkious amd slanted post? curious minds want to know.

There has to be some catch with the loads. Look at peak L1 cache bandwidth as measured by SiSoft Sandra:

2.4 GHz Core: ~57GB/s (1)
3.73 GHz Netburst: ~34GB/s (2)
2.6 GHz K8: ~20GB/s (3)

So I find it very hard to believe that Conroe is somehow limited/cripled by its ability to fetch data. And Kate is right by the way, that Sharikou guy is not very reasonable to say the least: he even denies that Conroe is 64 bit.
