I don't often agree with Girardi but the reporters asked him again today about moving Jeter down in the lineup and he said pretty much what I have been thinking. Who goes in the 2 spot? It's not like anyone is killing the ball lately.
For 20 years Jeter has been in the top of the lineup. With one month left and a very slim chance of making the playoffs, just leave him there.
