What I noticed about the part in the video is an abundance of milling marks on the back (inside) of the logo part. Doesn't seem consistent with the production advantages of BMG, BWDIK?
Does anyone here have an idea how the density of the Glassimetal formulations that Apple licensed compare to that of an industrial milling bit? Like Carbide or something even harder? In other words, are the formulas that Glassimetal patented softer than Vitreloy, and perhaps more suited for post production machining?
I guess we'll all find out on the 9th or thereabouts.
