Heck, I would not mind seeing my White Sox lose out and get a top three pick again next year. They have some good young talent ready to take the next step next year and some money to spend in the off season. I believe they will be in the thick of it next year.
Alexi is getting older, but probably has a couple of good years left. Would be nice to have him as a veteran presence next year, but if a contender is willing to shell out the right prospects, The Sox have to make the move.
