You would think the technicians, in order to tune the unit properly pre test, would need results in order to dial in the "sweet spot" for each load level. Theoretically, the technicians should already have had a pretty good idea as to how the unit was ultimately going to perform. But, from what I read on this board, it appears test results have already become public knowledge? Or is someone...uh, lying. Is that legal? Anyway, IMO, HTI/AHS had a pretty good idea as to how this test was going to go even before it officially began. Hopefully a PR is coming soon...

The first test has been concluded, however the second test only recently commenced with the “breaking in” of the two gen-sets the verification will take place on. Results from the second testing will not be readily available for another 70 days. Having said that, the results good or bad will be published as public record rather coming just from the company.

This is a statement that serves as an update on our progress. We commenced third party verification testing to day, 18 July 2013. This technology verification has been developing over the last several months. The full testing will take approximately 45–60 days. The company plans to disclose the results regardless the outcome. The company will not reveal what parties are conducting the test or for what purpose outside the verification of the Hy-Impact series of products.

How do you know it wasn't? The way I heard it three weeks was how long people in the know waited for Opie to come clean. He has yet to do that and may be just waiting till he gets back from vacation to admit the truth. Actually I think he was praying that somehow the unit would fix itself.
