especially with dr, seymours comment about how they can overcome the decoy. Before you can solve a problem, you need to identify the problem. Sound like they have something, and this will probably be the best way to test it out.
EBOLA with it's defense mechanism in no way effects how flucide will work, since flucide has no decoys.

By the way, the current treatment that helps patients live slightly longer is the introduction of FLUIDS. The only thing the swillcide probably did was add some fluids into the mice and help dilute the ebola virus ratio a bit.
