NNVC does not have a cure for Ebola, and they don't even claim that they do. Their current Ebolacide is very preliminary. What I could see from the conclusion on that poster session (using a magnifying glass) is that it had low efficacy in mice. The mice lived a bit longer, but died anyway. That is why NNVC is eager to test out new versions of Ebolacide, in vitro in and mice, but is not trying to bring their current version of Ebolacide to human trials.

So, no, NNVC is not going to swoop in and save the day in the current Ebola outbreak. Maybe they'll be able to do that in some new outbreak 5 years from now, but not this time.
