Most companies do not want to have a IPO near the BABA IPO date.

I kinda get a feeling BABA is trying to get into the "Netflix" "HULU" type business in China...

It wouldn't surprise me at all.
The way the valuation of the IPO seems to be going,they could pretty much put themselves into many different sectors....

And thrive.
