That is true, although I believe has more to do with that Company's past than anything else. Take a small biotech's lead candidate (or equal with lead candidate) and grant it Breakthrough Therapy designation and the pps should soar, imo.

Unfortunately, Breakthrough Therapy(BTT)designation didn't work so well on the share price for Clovis on their CO-1686 back in May
