Then how do you expect them to make their solar panels. I doubt they have the capital to build a semiconductor wafer factory, so theyll need a partner for that.

I didn't put Panasonic in the mix. Solar3d did when they decided to use Panasonic technology to make the 3d cell and made it compatible with Panasonic's existing manufacturing techniques.
