I'll give it a try!

Apple is one of the same believer in technology like shareholders are.
Apple invested Mio.20$ and shareholders a little bit more.
The difference is shareholders have to communicate with Mgt. of LQMT for perspective, potential revenues, profits, strategy .... and Apple can work for its own and definitely don't need these points to exist. So, I think with rights to use this technology in CE poducts Mgt. of LQMT really don't know anything about upcoming products with their LM alloys in Apple products and will be happy when it comes true some day.

So, the difference finally is ... Apple play the game and you watch the game.
