How could you possible think we'd be taken over? Wasn't that was discussed long ago? I'm almost certain some type of structure was built into share plans to ward off that possibility. Rocky would remember, I bet.

Geesh design, I would've thought you'd be pumped up after re-reading J. Randolph Dumas's Letter to the Shareholders at least a second time to let it soak in.

This man has really been around the block internationally and has a good grip on the company's divisions as regards their accomplishments to date and where they are headed, and, summed it all up for us after just days into his new position.

He didn't hesitate to take the helm in a focused manner.

I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that Sir Christopher assisted in the Russian presentation to the Duma and the negotiations, whether or not that deal becomes fact after sincere efforts to bring it to fruition on GTE's part, and, that he will also be available to assist in international situations of consequence.

These are not trifling folks. They are seriously connected through a lifetime of work ethic and international travel for business (and government as well in the case of Meyer's).

I have said a couple times over the last year that the day the Stratellite is commercially launched, it would be the most glorious business day in the life of GTE investors.

Now I'm seeing how the big picture is progressing, with top quality people in every level of the company who are bound and determined, with entrepreneurship and the application of their learning and creativity, to bring an entire private network to a global reach in record time. Let it be so.

A takeover? Like, a hostile takeover? No, I don't think that. I just think Dumas and Friends want to give the company a proper British governess.
