If it had not, there could not have been pilot programs run and subsequent 5 year contracts. Nor would Verizon endorse it enthusiastically, which they did and IMO, will continue to.

It can be disregarded that Ecdc/ student Connect and Verizon must both pass the muster of astute legal departments at the district boards. But , IT SHOULD NOT BE DISREGARDED, as a primary safeguard. General public has little idea of the complexities both the school boards and Ecdc and Verizon walked out when STUDENT CONNECT WAS SUCCESSFULLY PILOTED AND NEWS PICKED IT UP. Must get a handle on where S/C has come but also the hoops a company jumps through when a school district is monitored by local, state and fed, govt. Bureaus.

Can lose huge allocations of these fundings if they avoid proper channels and deliberately acceptable choices, before signing any contracts. CONFIDENCE!! (Professionals more knowledgeable and more experienced than gen public and with much more at risk than current share price speculators have been doing real due diligence on every aspect of this product and both Ecdc and Verizon) don't see much relationship to PPS today. Revenue has not been generated all that much, deployment is costly. But plan is in place, or school boards could not see poss. Of 5 year sustainability , nor would Verizon hook in on much of any level,,IMO.

And, yes, it does appear govt. Is moving in direction of more and more tracking, which is why it may be practical to consider the potential of radio frequency I. d. Beyond the trucking industry , which may have been ECDC a first deployment efforts.

Safeguards are built in with handling the most precious commodity, our children. Forward focus, ECDC/ Student Connect! Each to his own level of comfort on indep. DD. I am not an adviser. All said here is IMO , IMO , IMO.
