Appraised as "very good" condition, the decortication equipment was originally purchased for over $10,000,000.
The original purchaser paid $10M. HEMP bought it at a bankruptcy auction for a lot less.
Getting the equipment for a bargain price is a good thing, but moving and reassembling it at a new location will be expensive, and there won't be significant quantities of hemp to process for several years (maybe they can process kenaf in the meantime,) so it's likely that the equipment will sit idle most of the time, depreciating.
