I totally agree it looks a if the market is becoming more aware of what Spider Silk properties are as a fibre.
It will create a huge demand shortly

Or they'd be afraid of it...If you ask the average or most americans, they don't even know how silk is produced, so the idea of it being a "Monster Moth" would probably scare them from using...lol

"I can easily see a new hipster trend being formed to have clothing made out of silk from "Monster Moths that have been injected with Spider DNA". If it is marketed just right, there could easily be overwhelming demand after just the first production run."

well since lighter and stronger is already here, i guess some kind of market gimmick is all thats left...

a lot better chance of that catching on without one company doing it exclusively...a company's sales rising 10% might have others wanting it too...but if they cant get it, then they'll be fighting it...which it looks like they are doing already...

thats another real business world reality...and another reason exclusivity is stupid in this case...these companies are already saying their stuff is as good as spider silk...soon they will say it is better...all before spider silk has even come out... by the time it does , consumers will already be convinced they dont need it...

brilliant business plan kim has going there...take years to slooooooowly make something happen and then shut out everyone but one...making all the other giant corporations work against you...

real smart
