Years ago, back in 2007, Etrade changed their Market Trader from an outside source (I think they got their feed back them from Reuters)to a new platform that they ran and modeled themselves. While it was good because it added level II for pinks and otc's at the time, it had so many problems and didn't hold up to the original model. I started a board when it came out: http://investorshub.advfn.com/A-NEW-Etrade-Market-Trader-8432/ It really didn't go anywhere. A few complaints and questions but it eventually died out.
