Tesla isn't working with Saleen... Why do people keep saying that?

They are currently doing r&d to produce a Saleen version of the tesla S yes, but not working with Tesla.

Its seems a little aggressive to press someone at Tesla to reveal their relationship with Saleen while very well knowing that Saleen has never mentioned any relationship with Tesla. It's as if you were purposely making it seem to Tesla as though Saleen was going around stating that there was an official relationship between Saleen and Tesla. Why would you do that?
