#238258 RE: aleajactaest #238257

Let's hope some light will be shed next Thurs. at the CC. I will be traveling so won't get to hear it.

There are so many questions about Wave's products. I think your assumption is reasonable that Solms saw the VSC (2.0) as being the closet to marketable, so he rushed that out the door.

We are really struggling in the dark here--but, still, it is better than looking at things under SKS's phantom light.

IMO, Wave was so hard to comprehend, because there was next to nothing going on and SKS and crew did not want that true impression out there, so they obfuscated at every turn. It turns out, that was exactly the case--the infamous 'pipeline' was completely empty, after investors had been led to believe it was full of nearly completed deals worth millions.

As for those who assisted in presenting the completely false picture of a company in good health, when it was really on extremely shaky legs, except for sales of shares--one wonders if the lessons have been learned. It appears as if they have not been learned.

There is still a tendency to try to shape the debate and to steer it to the positive side. That's OK, but for those who take their info solely from that 'shaped' debate, it was likely to produce a wrong conclusion and lead to big losses.

We have a new beginning now and we'll have to see if Wave truly does have marketable products. I am skeptical, personally--simply because in light of all the breaches, leaks, hacks, etc.--most everyone agrees there is a market for security. That is what puzzles me--the complete lack of sales in such an environment.

Perhaps both sides, supporters and critics can join hands in trying to decipher whether Wave may at some future point be a good investment. Right now, IMO, all the signs show it is not. Could change, but I would expect change to come slowly--especially operating out of the deep hole Wave was left in by the previous mgt.
