Bank, we haven’t seen or heard anything more of the early summer demo of the Argus .. but from reading that the airship division had a completed case study dated July 8 .. & that middle altitude capabilities of the Argus will be refined .. it does seem to indicate that we are close to moving forward .. up ; )

“On July 8 we completed a written comprehensive business case and technology analysis for our airship division. In that business case it became clear that the best use of our Argus One prototype is to continue to refine the middle altitude capabilities of the Argus One and continue to seek military and commercial partners in the United States and abroad through marketing partners such as Trident and EWA Government Systems.”

I remember reading something somewhere about why 65 000’ was important .. that there wasn’t a charge to broadcast from that height by the FCC? Which may be why the Google-Loon communications type sized payload is mentioned with that platform .. but until that version of the Argus is ready .. would the 20 000’ Argus not be ideal IF it could stay on station for a lengthy period on time
