If this process proves to be unique and successful, it would definitely benefit LQMT in exclusivity in the Non-CE arena.

"a need exists to develop a crucible that can be used in VIM and can minimize the contamination of the alloys by the elements of the crucible material." VIM = vacuum injection melting.
so the patent describes a way to heat up a BMG to a specific temperature prior to an ejection molding process.
