Eagle1947, it seems to me it is merely that the House Wins. The people who live in the house live well. The lot of the rest of the world is to provide the funds. Sharecroppers of sorts, funding the estate's currency in trade...shares, with most of the fruits of the labor going to support the Bigs' lifestyles.
