flaflyersfan, that video you are referring to is the initial prototype, years ago. CSpace since then has evolved, and caught the attention of Schott Defense. You can find those PR's on the company website www.3dicon.net, for further reading you can go on the SPIE website for further evolved images of cspace and explanations in greater detail. I am unaware of the Soviets having a red teacup, or 3D volumetric display for that matter. Please feel free to post sources on that, if not I beleive it is a cynical, and dubious claim.
