this board IS cranking up! i ran a screen for % gainers today and spotted ZP. i took a pretty good sized position, too. the timing, imho, couldn't be better, with 3 dollar gas upon us and the summer driving spikes not even happening yet. the phasing out of MTBE and the shift over to ethanol will cause lines at pumps according to some CNBC talking heads i heard today, so i think america is about to trade in its SUVs for smart cars.

i realize i may have caught the proverbial falling knife today, but figure i can always add more if it sinks to a buck... longer term..? LOOK OUT ABOVE.

to the seasoned longs, what's the status of DC not selling off the division? latest news i saw was from 3/22/06 and posted on this board. i also understand ZAP is suing DC for uncompetitive practices, etc. how does this affect ZAP's ability to market its cars?

also, is yahoo's low corporate governance quotient due to some of the $ problems experienced by management "outside of their control" and perhaps due in part to its combative relationship with big auto, namely DC?
