Cartoon--IMO the genius of the Virtual Smart Card is that a person can actually VISUALIZE the concept. What comes to mind of course is a concrete visualization of some type of smart card lodged inside your device.
In contrast, having been discussing TPMs forever I never had any graphic visualization of a TPM other than a piece of contoured silicon that looked identical to all the other silicon embedded inside.
TPMs have suddenly and radically emerged from visual vaporware to the easily visualized smart card that pulsates in your device begging to be used to make your life safe and secure.
General Solms deserves a great deal of credit for leveraging to the hilt this marketing approach.
