I agree with you and especially about the price action this week.
Personally I am looking and hoping for continued stability at around the same level.
I am wondering though whether the recent rise could be an offshoot of the old buy on the rumor and sell on the news scenario.
No there is no rumor involved with Wotton's hiring, but there is always the possibility that the news in advance that he take on his duties on July 21 and then actually taking them on tomorrow could have at least a brief negative impact on the stock price as it does with buy on the rumor and sell on the news.
Also with the mm's involved, it is possible that if Wotton doesn't say anything in the way of new news during the first couple of days, the price could go down for the same reason that it has in the past when there has been anticipated news at a cc or conference/presentation and none has been forthcoming.
Obviously this is all speculation, and as you say/imply, this week will be interesting.

I think the PPS moves are based more on how likely ACTC is to succeed. The new CEO and financing showed us that bankruptcy isn't a concern, and that progression is moving forward. The TLD will hopefully give us an idea of what to expect from the FDA, and move us significantly higher if things look good. The biggest move in my opinion will come next year with breakthrough status from the FDA.
